Cervical ranula refers to a pseudocyst, appears as swqelling in the hyoid-inframylohoid region that is the result of a mucous extravasation phenomenone. Most cervical ranulas either are accompained by swelling in the floor of the moth, or are
associated
wit a hisotry of treatmetn for intraoral ranula, it is not difficult to diagnose such lesions. On the other hand, it is difficult to make a preoperative diagnosis of cervical ranula when there is no associated signs or symptoms in the floor of
the
mouth, because of the relatively infrequent occurrence of this lesions and the lack of specific diagnostic tests. We presented a case of cervical ranula without any associated signs or symptoms in the floor of the mouth.
